Baby Strollers – Buyers Guide

Baby strollers seem to be going from big to huge – some of things don’t even fit on the footpath anymore – never mind the supermarket aisle! I really wish parents would think a little more before they buy the latest and invariably largest available.  Side by side double buggies are a nightmare for everyone. Either get one which has the kids sitting in front and behine – or get one with a step where the older child and stand and ride along. Another option is to carry the baby in a sling or backpack – and save the stroller for an older child – the small light weight strollers will fold easily and fit on buses and small cars – while the big 4WD strollers require a large off-roader to transport them.

Also check out the prices of second hand strollers – these items are designed to last for years – but most kids only need them for a couple so I see no point in buying new for these
