Exercising over 40 is strongly advisable by fitness experts because it improves oneâ??s health. However, at over 40, you have to understand that the body is different from when your where 20. There are certain activities or things that you cannot do with ease. This is because the organs in the body do not function as they used to and there is likelihood that one is prone to often experience mood swings. At over 40, one feels tired throughout since the body is not in a good shape. It is therefore time to make up your mind and come up with ways to keep fit and gradually overcome these problems.
A balanced diet is a prerequisite in keeping healthy. This should consist of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and cereals. Foods that contain a lot of fats are not good for your health and hence should be avoided. This is because the breakdown of fats in the body is minimal at an older age. Accumulation of fats in the body may lead to health related complications such as heart problems.
